Privacy Policy — Multiplication Monsters
Effective date: 2026-04-02This privacy policy applies to the Multiplication Monsters app (the "Application") for mobile devices, created by Brain Reaction, based in Belgium (the "Service Provider"). This service is provided "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application stores most data locally on your device. The information stored locally includes:
- A player name (optionally entered by the user)
- Game progress (worlds visited, monsters defeated, problems practised)
- Practice statistics (per-table accuracy and response-speed data)
- In-app settings (language preference, sound on/off)
The Application does not collect location data, does not use advertising networks, does not use analytics services, and does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. It does not require an email address or account registration.
Third Party Access
The Application uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Google Play Services — Android app distribution
- Expo — the development framework powering the app
- RevenueCat — processes the one-time "Full Adventure" in-app purchase. To validate and restore purchases, RevenueCat receives an app-specific user identifier, device/technical information (such as device type and operating system), purchase and transaction history, and IP-based location data. RevenueCat acts as a data processor on our behalf, under a Data Processing Agreement incorporating EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and may store this data on servers located in the United States. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or other directly identifying information from us.
The Service Provider does not sell, trade, or otherwise share user data with any other third parties.
Your Rights (GDPR — EU/EEA users)
Because the Service Provider is based in Belgium, users in the European Union/European Economic Area have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data processed on our behalf (such as the purchase data held by RevenueCat), the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données, www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at keersmaekersjan@gmail.com.
COPPA Notice (United States users)
The Application is available in the United States and is directed in part at children. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children as defined under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA): no email address, account, or directly identifying information is requested or required. The optional player name is stored only on the device and is never transmitted anywhere. Purchase processing through RevenueCat involves only the technical and transaction data described above, not directly identifying personal information. Parents who believe their child has provided personal information through the Application, or who have questions about our COPPA compliance, can contact us at keersmaekersjan@gmail.com and we will respond promptly, including by deleting any such information where applicable.
Opt-Out Rights
Most data can be removed by uninstalling the Application or using the "Reset Progress" option inside the app. To request deletion of purchase-related data held by RevenueCat, contact the Service Provider at keersmaekersjan@gmail.com. The Service Provider will then delete the corresponding customer record directly through RevenueCat's dashboard or API on your behalf; you do not need to contact RevenueCat yourself.
Data Retention Policy
Game data is stored exclusively on your device until you uninstall the Application or reset progress. Purchase-related data is retained by RevenueCat as described in their privacy policy and our Data Processing Agreement with them.
Children
Multiplication Monsters is designed for children aged 6–12 and is intended to be used under parental supervision. Parents and guardians can remove all locally stored data at any time using "Reset Progress" or by uninstalling the app. Questions or removal requests: keersmaekersjan@gmail.com.
Security
Game data stored locally depends on the device's own protections. Purchase validation through RevenueCat is handled over secure, encrypted connections.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of any revised policy.
