Privacy Policy

Brain Reaction ("we", "the Service Provider") publishes several Android applications, each with its own data practices. Because the apps differ in what they collect and which third-party services they use, each app has its own detailed privacy policy:

• Multiplication Monsters — for children, includes RevenueCat in-app purchase
• Spelling Stickers — for children
• FotoFrame — uses Google Photos access
• BatteryGuard — sends email alerts

What all our apps have in common

None of our apps sell or trade your data. None use advertising networks. Most data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. Where a third-party service (such as Google Play Services, Expo, RevenueCat, or an SMTP provider) is used, it is named explicitly in the relevant app's policy above, along with what it receives and why.

Google User Data (FotoFrame)

FotoFrame is the only Brain Reaction app that accesses Google user data.

• Data Accessed: FotoFrame uses the Google Photos Picker API with the photospicker.mediaitems.readonly OAuth scope. This grants access only to the specific photo(s) you explicitly select through Google's own picker interface — FotoFrame never has standing access to your full Photos library.
• Data Usage: Selected photos are used solely to display a slideshow on your own device. Images are fetched directly from Google's servers using short-lived URLs and are not processed for any other purpose.
• Data Sharing: Google user data is not shared with, sold to, or transmitted to any third party, and is not used for advertising or profiling. Our use adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
• Data Storage & Protection: Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data. All data transmitted between the app and Google's servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. The OAuth access token is encrypted at rest on your device using Android's secure storage APIs, with silent re-authentication handled by Google's native Sign-In SDK, which itself stores the refresh token in Android's system-protected Account Manager. Photos remain stored on Google's servers; the app keeps only a temporary, OS-managed local cache for smooth playback, automatically cleared and refreshed roughly every 50 minutes as Google's photo URLs expire.
• Data Retention & Deletion: You can revoke FotoFrame's access at any time via your Google Account permissions page, which invalidates the stored tokens. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored tokens, the picker selection reference, and any temporary photo cache. No persistent copy of your photos is ever stored by Brain Reaction.

Your Rights (GDPR — EU/EEA users)

Because the Service Provider is based in Belgium, EU/EEA users have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).
